As I mentioned in my previous post, I was going to build a website that would help event curators to look for speaker contact information. I was inspired by my own working experience and how much time I usually spend on speaker curation.
Looking for contact information can be really annoying as well as a big stretch, so any kind of assistance wouldn’t disturb.
As I also mentioned before:
Who would be the client of this app?
This would be specifically targeted to any event curator who needs a speaker’s contact information, but anyone, who needs to reach someone, could use it, too.
Who would do the job?
I would be using a 3rd party service (Fancy Hands) to do the task. Later, when the app is working, it would be possible to look into building own pool of workers and gamifying their reward system, so it’s a bit more complex than just paying for the job.
What’s the task?
Find contact information.
This is also a quick demo on the video:
As this is only the first step, for the future development I would consider:
- Do more styling (this one is only ok for demoing)
- Create sign up / sign in function
- Create own worker pool and gamify the process (so there’s more motivation than just getting paid)
To be continued on the process.
